IHOP
Kin's internal hub for managing insurance products
IHOP is the internal app Kin uses to manage its insurance products: rating, forms, product configuration, and underwriting rules. I led the prototyping, started the repo in 2023, and built the app shell and deployment. Other engineers built most of the app from there.
Before IHOP, I worked on Rater, Kin’s rating API. In 2021 I built the front end for its home, index, and risk pages, and in 2022 I mocked up screens for managing filings and base rates.
Underwriting rules
Underwriting rules are nested AND/OR conditions. The Kinetic team built a query builder component to edit them.
